This was a great moment for the NBA, to have two former dominant centers come together after a long heated battle between each other. Unfortunately, this sweet moment won’t happen.

Shaq has reportedly backed out of presenting Howard. The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame X account shared the inductees and their presenters. Shaq is notably missing from Howard’s list.

 

Howard will be presented by Patrick Ewing, Robert Parish, Dennis Rodman, and Dominique Wilkins. There is no official reason as to why Shaq has backed out, but it’s a shame he couldn’t keep his word to Howard.
