Caitlin Clark sets NBA TV record

An argument can be made that Caitlin Clark is already the most popular WNBA player of all time, and the most recent televison numbers support that claim.

The recent game between Clark’s Indiana Fever and the Dallas Wings was broadcast on NBA TV and set the record for the most-watched game on the network in the past year. The game topped the viewership numbers of several high-profile NBA matchups that were featured on the network.

In fact, four WNBA games cracked the list’s top ten, all of them being games that Clark played in. In addition to the viewership, the game also received the highest ratings of any game on the network since a playoff matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat back in 2023.

It’s safe to say that Clark is well on her way to an illustrious career, and she’s bringing the WNBA to the global spotlight in the process.
