Alex Caruso continues to prove how valuable a pickup he was for the Oklahoma City Thunder last offseason. Caruso made history in the Finals, not once, but twice in Game 4.

In the Thunder’s 111-104 Game 4 victory, Caruso indeed made history, twice. First, he became the only player in Finals history to record at least 20 points and five steals off the bench.

On top of the achievement, Caruso also became the first player in NBA history to have two Finals games of at least 20 points after failing to reach 20 points in a single regular season game.

Caruso spoke about his desire to win and how he’s embraced the role as “Robin.”

“We’ll just do Robin because that’s the only one I can probably make some similarities to, because I got better players around me that are doing more,” Caruso said. “I want to win; I don’t care if it’s pickup in September before training camp.

“I don’t care if it’s Game 45, 50, before the All-Star break. If it’s the Finals and you’re down 2-1, I want to win. That’s what I’m focused on.”

There’s a reason why fans call Alex Caruso the GOAT. He’s the type of player every team wants and needs to be successful.
