Bosnia and Herzegovina took home all three points in their final group stage match against Qatar on Wednesday.
With this loss, Qatar has officially been eliminated from the 2026 World Cup.

Their win brings their point’s total to four and puts them at the top of the third-place standings.
But their ticket to the round of 32 is not yet punched.
While their four points are impressive, their minus-1 goal different could still put them in trouble.
If Bosnia are to qualify for the round of 32, their next match will most likely see them face off against the U.S. on July 1.
Bosnia will now have to wait patiently to see how the rest of the third-place teams shake out.
As the table stands, if Czechia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Ecuador fail to win, Bosnia will punch their ticket.
While not certain, Bosnia advancing to the knockout stage is highly likely.
