The Las Vegas Raiders’ social team addressed its incoming quarterback competition with quite the twist during its 2026 schedule release video.

Veteran Kirk Cousins and the No. 1 overall pick from 2026, Fernando Mendoza, were each featured in the video embodying the characters of Brennan and Dale from the classic 2000s comedy Step Brothers. A few iconic scenes from the film were parodied throughout such as the initial standoff between the step-siblings, the sharing of a sacred sword and debate over Star Wars movies.

Although there is a competition on paper for the starting spot, Mendoza is the future of franchise making Cousins a good sport to fully commit to the bit.
