NFL tight end Travis Kelce and famous musician Taylor Swift are officially married, tying the knot in Madison Square Garden on Friday.
According to Swift’s publicist, the pair were married in a private ceremony with over 1,000 special guests in attendance. The ceremony was officiated by their friend and comedian Adam Sandler.

The couple had MSG completely revamped, moving the banners and arena seating to make room for a luxurious botanical garden-themed venue.
People reports that a plethora of celebrities attended the wedding, including Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz and Brad Paisley.
The two initially began seeing each other after Kelce attended one of Swift’s concerts back in 2023. While Kelce had made her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, he never managed to get it to her that night.
Not long after Kelce spoke out about this experience on his “New Heights” podcast, he was seen spending time with Swift on multiple occasions.
Dating rumors were confirmed later that year, when Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears.
Almost immediately, Swift fans that had never watched football were suddenly tuning into NFL games. The pair quickly became one of the most popular couples on earth and Kelce’s jersey sales skyrocketed by 400%.
That season, the Chiefs finished with an 11-6 record and went on to secure a Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers, in part due to Kelce’s team-high 93 receiving yards.
Now officially married, Kelce faces a new decision, this one regarding his NFL future.
On one hand, he already signed a one-year deal to return to the Chiefs for his 14th NFL season. On the other hand, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he switches course and calls it a career, especially after such a big life change.
Regardless of whether he plays this season or not, Kelce is now part of one of the most famous married couples in the world.
