San Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson is the 2025-26 NBA Sixth Man of the Year, the league announced on Wednesday.

“I feel like it’s just a testament to the hard work, the dedication that I’ve had to myself, to doing what I love to do,” Johnson told ESPN. “It hasn’t always been easy. But it never deterred me, never steered me away. I just found a way to be the best Keldon Johnson each and every day. Being Sixth Man of the Year is just a testament to that, to my supporting cast, to the Spurs and how much they’ve trusted and believed in me.”

Johnson takes home the award after playing in all 82 games this season and averaging 13.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23.3 minutes per contest.

He is now the first player in Spurs history to score at least 1,000 points off the bench in a season and joins Manu Ginobili as the only other Spurs player to take home the 6MOY trophy.

Johnson received 63 of the 100 first-place votes while Miami Heat forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. came in second with 34 of the first-place votes and Denver Nuggets guard Tim Hardaway Jr. finished in third place.
