Victor Wembanyama led the way for the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday as they secured a decisive 119-101 win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Early in the first quarter, Wembanyama took a hard hit from Antetokounmpo and went to the locker room with a knee injury. After missing the rest of the first, he returned to the game in the second quarter.

Even with Wembanyama’s injury scare, the Spurs didn’t miss a beat, outscoring the Bucks 106-69 through the first three quarters. The third quarter is where San Antonio really pulled away, outscoring Milwaukee 40-16.

Wembanyama returned to the court with force, finishing with 22 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Antetokounmpo had 21 points, five rebounds and two steals in the lopsided defeat. As the Bucks continue to look dysfunctional, blowouts like this one bring up the everlasting questions about the Greek Freak’s future in Milwaukee.
