It is said that defense wins NBA championships. The Oklahoma City Thunder proved that much true last season as defense was their calling card.

The Thunder’s perimeter defense was led by Luguentz Dort, who was named to the All-Defensive First Team. Now, in the upcoming NBA 2K26 game Dort, along with Dyson Daniels of the Atlanta Hawks led all players in perimeter defense with a 94 rating.

If Dort can continue his defensive excellence, while MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander can keep up his stellar all-around play, the Thunder could very well walk away with another championship.
