Deandre Ayton hasn’t received a text from LeBron James

Deandre Ayton is the new center for the Los Angeles Lakers. While he has received a text from Lakers star Luka Doncic, he has yet to receive one from LeBron James.

“Not really, yet. But I definitely had a text from Luka,” Ayton said. “I know how the offseason goes. This is not my first rodeo. People are probably busy with training and hanging out with their families. But I’m just waiting, really just trying to integrate myself with the team and get to know everybody.”

This claim from Ayton has certainly caused fans to scratch their heads. Yes, LeBron could very well be busy with family or a vacation, or even a business situation. He may as well soon text Ayton.

With the drama surrounding LeBron and his future with the Lakers, it does give off the vibe that LeBron hasn’t texted because he’s on his way out.
