Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is arguably the most popular athlete in the world. He appeared on The Pat McAfee Show this week to discuss various topics such as his confrontation with NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith.
During one point in the show, James made a comment claiming that Giannis Antetokounmpo would average 250 points if he played in the 1970’s. Predictably, James’ comments have gone viral and sparked the long-lasting debate between NBA eras.

If you put the current Giannis with his current conditioning and current skills, then yes, he would dominate. But if Giannis was born in the 50's and then started playing in the 70's with the 70's conditioning, skill level, technology, weight training, etc… then it's a no.…

LeBron has been compared to past eras and players ever since he was drafted and while his comments may be extreme, he’s more qualified to make them than just about anyone on Earth.
