LeBron James

LeBron James listed on injury report for Sunday night’s game

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has reportedly been away from the team due to personal reasons and has missed the last two games. During this absence, he was listed on the injury report with left foot soreness. For Sunday night’s game against Memphis however, he is listed as questionable with left foot injury management.

While there have been reports that those within the Lakers organization do not know where LeBron actually is, his slightly upgraded status could suggest that he has rejoined the team but is not ready to play yet. When Lakers coach JJ Redick was asked last week if he knew when James would return he gave a quick and simple answer, “No”.

During James’ absence, the Lakers have continued to struggle and are 1-1 in the two games he’s missed. They are now 13-12 on the season at tenth place in the Western Conference.

On the other hand, the Grizzlies have been one of the league’s most pleasant surprises this season. They enter Sunday’s matchup with an 18-8 record and sit at second place in the Western Conference.

With trade rumors centered around James becoming increasingly common, there are certainly many questions unanswered regarding James’ status in L.A.
