The Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks battled it out in the quarterfinals of the NBA’s inaugural In-Season Tournament. The Bucks routed the Knicks to the tune of a 24-point blowout ending 146-122. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard led the way with 35 and 28 points respectively.

The contest was close throughout the first two quarters with the Bucks leading 75-72 at halftime.

Late in the third quarter, however, the Bucks went on a 17-6 run led by power forward, Bobby Portis and Lillard.

The Bucks continued to pile on after this run and did not relent from that point on.

For the Knicks, Power Forward, Julius Randle almost single-handedly kept his team in the game and finished with a game-high 41 points.

Jalen Brunson and R.J Barrett added 24 and 23 points respectively, but their efforts alone were not enough to challenge the Bucks.

Lillard spoke about how the Bucks performed in this important In-season tournament match-up.

“We moved the ball well,” said Lillard. “The plays were there to be made, and we made that extra pass to try and get off quality shots every opportunity given to us.”

With this win, the Bucks will  play the Indiana Pacers Thursday, Dec. 7 in Las Vegas.
