Scoot Henderson has been selected No. 3 overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2023 NBA Draft. This is big news for Portland, as they pair Henderson with their star, Damian Lillard.

Scoot Henderson averaged 16.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, and 6.8 APG this past season with the G-League Ignite. He shot 42.9% from the field and 27.5% from the 3PT range, which may have kept him from being selected with the No. 2 pick by the Charlotte Hornets.
Still, Henderson has the athletic gift and the fire mentally to be one of the game’s best players. He’ll have his chance to prove it next season.
