The Indiana Hoosiers wasted no time taking control of Friday’s CFP semifinal game against the Oregon Ducks.

On the first play of the Peach Bowl matchup, just 11 seconds in, Hoosiers defensive back D’Angelo Ponds picked off Ducks quarterback Dante Moore at the 20 yard line and scrambled to the endzone.

The stunning pick-six was an ideal opening for the Hoosiers, who are looking to improve to 15-0 and secure a spot in the national championship game.

While it was an ugly start for the Ducks, their offense responded well with a touchdown of their own to tie the game 7-7 midway through the first quarter.
