Professional athletes have also dealt with hateful comments from fans but it seems to have skyrocketed since betting has become the culture. A video has hit social media showing a fan berating Butler over the fact that Butler failed to score 30 points, causing the fan to lose money.
Hopefully, betting can be somewhat reduced so the fans who actually love the game can be put forward rather than a fan looking to make some money. Unfortunately, that likely won’t happen.
