LeBron ended up playing 30 minutes, scoring 11 points while adding 12 assists. He shot 4-7 from the field and 2-3 from three.
“It was just fun to be out there with the guys, man,” LeBron said. “Like I said, it’s been rough mentally for me. It’s the first time I’ve started a basketball season and not played since I’ve started playing basketball, like, nine years old. I’ve never missed the beginning of the basketball season.”
LeBron clearly wasn’t in an offensive mood, that still belonged to Luka Doncic.
The Slovenian star went off for 37 points and 10 assists while getting help from Austin Reaves, who added 26 points. The Lakers defeated the Jazz 140-126, and are certainly happy to have King James back.
