Rose is more remembered for not the way his career ended, but for how bright his light shone before his initial ACL injury as a member of the Chicago Bulls. Rose’s dream was to play for the Bulls, as he is a Chicago native.

Rose gave fans plenty to cheer about as well. This includes making history by becoming the youngest MVP winner in 2011.

Now, the Bulls are honoring Rose in the best possible way by retiring his jersey. When Rose discovered the news, he broke down emotionally, and it was caught on camera.

The jersey retirement ceremony will take place on January 24, 2026. It certainly will be an emotional night for all Chicagoans.
