Sixers head coach Nick Nurse spoke about Maxey’s injury after Wednesday night’s game.
“He just had some hamstring tightness,” Nurse said. “And they’ll check it out.”
The Sixers are now 1-6 on the season and dealing with an injury to their primary guard. With Joel Embiid still out until Tuesday at the earliest and Paul George just recently making his debut, it will take a while for the Sixers to play as a full, cohesive team.
