The Miami Dolphins made the decision to bench QB Tua Tagovailoa during the fourth quarter of their matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Tagovailoa struggled throughout the matchup and threw three total interceptions, including two on back-to-back drives. He finished the game throwing 12 of 23 with 100 passing yards and no touchdowns.

Rookie Quinn Ewers took the field early in the fourth quarter after recently being promoted to backup QB over Zach Wilson. After facing a huge deficit, the Browns couldn’t recover and lost the game 31-6.

Concerns about Tagovailoa’s performance have now been amplified, as he’s thrown six interceptions in his last two starts, compared to just one touchdown in the same span.

Outcries for the team to make a quarterback change have reached an all-time high.
