The U.S. men’s national team took down Senegal in its penultimate international friendly ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The U.S. jumped to a 2-0 lead early in the match, with goals from Sergiño Dest and Christian Pulisic in the first half.

However, Senegal would show some offensive prowess of its own, with a Sadio Mané brace evening the score at two apiece.

But just 10 minutes later in the 63rd minute Folarin Balogun buried a third goal for the United States, which was enough to lead the U.S. to a 3-2 victory against one of Africa’s strongest teams.

The Americans are looking to head into the World Cup hot with one more international friendly against Germany on Saturday before the start of the tournament on June 11.
