Steve Kerr has seen a lot of great basketball games. He played alongside Michael Jordan on the Chicago Bulls and has coached Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant on the Golden State Warriors.

Kerr has recently selected the greatest game he’s ever been involved in. Surprisingly, it doesn’t involve playing with Jordan or coaching the Warriors.

“The Serbia game was the greatest basketball game I’ve ever been involved with,” Kerr said. “We were lucky to win, but we had to make every play, and our guys did it down the stretch. It was incredible.”

Kerr spoke about the semifinal matchup between Team USA and Serbia at the 2024 Olympics. Curry took over when Team USA needed it the most, leading the American squad to a 95-91 victory.

Curry’s 36 points on 12-19 shooting, including 9-14 from three, was arguably the greatest Team USA performance we’ve ever seen. Kerr is happy he was there to witness it firsthand.
