Jimmy Butler pays ultimate respect to Stephen Curry: “That is my Batman”
He has four NBA Championship rings, but someone else is tied with James who is chasing Jordan. Stephen Curry, 37, is a four-time champion and 2022 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player. The 11-time All-Star, two-time league MVP, two-time NBA scoring champion, and 10-time All-NBA team selection changed the culture of basketball with his shot-making abilities. He has the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference playoffs as the No. 7 seed facing Houston in the first round. “We’re going to start putting Steph up there with Michael Jordan,” Pierce said on SPEAK.
“If he wins one more, think about that, he would win the era. What era is this? It is the LeBron, KD [Kevin Durant], and Curry era. If he gets five championships and an unanimous MVP, and LeBron stays at four … it is going to get real uncomfortable.”
Curry has opportunity to upend James in the biggest debate in basketball.
We will see how he performs as Saturday starts round one of the playoffs.
