Steelers WR DK Metcalf sent to hospital after win over Ravens

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf was hospitalized after Sunday’s 27-22 win over the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced on Monday.

Metcalf was reportedly experiencing stomach pain on the team plane before the Steelers opted to send him to a Baltimore hospital.

Luckily, it was a move of caution and Metcalf spent the night in a Baltimore hotel. He will return to Pittsburgh on Monday.

So far this season, Metcalf has 753 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns on 52 receptions.

Metcalf and the Steelers secured a much-needed victory over a long-time rival on Sunday and will have an extra day of rest before hosting Miami Dolphins on “Monday Night Football”.
