The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks faced off in an exciting Super Bowl LX matchup on Saturday, with the Seahawks securing a 29-13 victory.
The Seahawks received the ball first and put together an eight-play drive before being stopped in the redzone and settling for a field goal.

That’s when both defenses locked in for the rest of the opening quarter, forcing the opposing offenses to punt.
Seattle’s running game opened up to start the second quarter, but the Patriots continued to blitz Sam Darnold. New England’s defense held strong in the redzone once again and forced the Seahawks into another field goal.
Defensive domination continued from both squads throughout the second quarter. After several punts and missed opportunities, the Seahawks once again made a field goal to take a 9-0 lead just before halftime.
The third quarter saw more of the same, with the Seahawks cashing in a fourth field goal to extend the league to 12.
To start the fourth quarter, the Seahawks finally scored the first touchdown of the game with a 16-yard connection from Sam Darnold to AJ Barner.
Momentum appeared to have shifted even further in favor of the Seahawks, but the Patriots responded with a touchdown of their own just three plays later.
The 35-yard heave from Drake Maye was caught by Mack Hollins in the endzone, bringing life back into New England.
With just over ten minutes to play, the Patriots defense came up big and forced the Seahawks to punt. A golden opportunity had presented itself and the Patriots began to take advantage.
After a strong start to the drive, New England made it to their own 44 yard line before Julian Love picked off Maye and made a 35-yard return.
Seattle ultimately settled for another field goal, taking a 22-7 lead with less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter.
That’s when Seahawks LB Uchenna Nwosu effectively sealed the victory with a 45-yard pick six to add seven more points to the lead.
Walker was the leader for Seattle, finishing with 27 carries for 161 total yards.
Sunday’s win is the second Super Bowl victory in Seahawks franchise history.
