Kansas City Chief quarterback Patrick Mahomes agreed to a restructured contract keeping him with the franchise through 2033 with a total value of $504.75 million according to ESPN.

The first four years of the deal will be fully guaranteed and Mahomes can make up to $522.25 million through incentives.

“Over the last decade Patrick has become one of the most iconic, beloved sports figures of all time,” said Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt. “He has helped lead our franchise to five Super Bowl appearances and three championships; he has been instrumental in shaping the Chiefs brand and putting Kansas City on the world stage; and on top of it all he has been an outstanding role model in the community. Patrick is a generational talent and an elite human being, and I’m so excited he will continue to lead our team into the future.”

Mahomes is currently working back from a torn ACL and LCL suffered lat December with the team hoping to get him back as soon as Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.

In 2020, Mahomes has originally signed a 10 year $450 million extension and has now reset the quarterback market again.
