The Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen relationship unfortunately ended after the airing of The Last Dance Documentary. Pippen didn’t like how the documentary portrayed himself and his Bulls teammates.

Pippen came out saying some strong words about Jordan and even wrote a tell-all book that dove deeper into the fractured relationship with his former Bulls running mate.

According to Pippen and Jordan’s former head coach, Phil Jackson, Jordan was upset about how his relationship ended with Pippen.

“Phil had asked Michael about that and Michael really expressed regret. I thought it was really poignant that Michael told Phil that he feels terrible after losing the relationship with Scottie,” sportswriter Sam Smith said.

“You know, a 20-25 year relationship that was closer than a lot of people thought, so it struck me really poignant that Michael felt a loss about this.”

Fans of basketball all hope that one day Jordan and Pippen can mend their relationship. Knowing how Jordan usually is after being attacked, it’s highly unlikely to happen. Unfortunately.
