During Wednesday night’s game, Sixers fans got to see the trio of Paul George, Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid on the court together for the first time this season. But as the second half was beginning, George hyperextended his left knee, the same one he injured about a month ago, before exiting to the locker room.
Shortly afterwards, Embiid collided knees with Grizzles big man Jaren Jackson Jr. and was seemingly shaken up, but remained in the game.

No further updates regarding George’s injury have been given, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see him miss at least one game. His injury is the newest entry on a list of problems for the Sixers, who are now 2-12 on the season after losing the matchup to the Grizzles 117-111.
