The Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs faced off on Saturday in a tight battle of two MVP candidates. As Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets went on to take down Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, Jokic’s brother may have been the most viral topic of the game.

Jokic’s older brother, Strahinja, turned heads after he angrily confronted a Spurs fan in the stands for taunting Jokic after a foul call.

Nuggets reporter Rachel Strand later confirmed that Jokic had taken a shot to the throat and went down. The Spurs fan mocked Jokic after the play, leading to his brother chastising the fan from the seats behind him.

The video contains music and what was said in the interaction is unclear, but the fan certainly seemed to get the message. He wasted no time sitting back down quietly.

Strahinja is reportedly around 6’11” and somewhere close to 350 pounds. Reporters say he tends to be rather friendly, but is fiercely loyal to Nikola. Luckily, the incident didn’t escalate beyond a verbal exchange and a little bit of physical intimidation.

James Parker contributed to this story.
