After all four Game 1 matchups of the second round were completed, NBA history was made. For the first time, all four road teams won Game 1 of the semifinals.

The NBA went to the current playoff format in 1984 and road teams have gone 3-1 on three different occasions (2011, 2015, 2023). But they have never gone 4-0, until this season.

This year’s playoffs have been very exciting and that’s backed up by the 13% viewership increase during the first 11 games compared to last year’s postseason.

Hopefully, the rest of the playoffs remain exciting—that’s what all NBA fans want.
