Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has sustained a right wrist strain and will be reevaluated in one week, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
After Tuesday’s win against the New Orleans Pelicans, Doncic didn’t seem too concerned about the injury, noting that he sustained it during the first quarter but that he thought it was “nothing serious”.

Doncic has already been playing through an injury for the last few weeks. Earlier this month, he sustained a left groin strain and tweaked his right knee just days later. Although Dallas won the only game Doncic has missed this season, he is the centerpiece of their offense.
His injury history is already lengthy for a player as young as Doncic, a trend that is seemingly growing in the NBA. Luckily for Mavericks fans, this injury doesn’t appear to be a major setback.
