LeBron James is an incredible basketball player and a better father and husband. The latter is one aspect more fans should appreciate.

LeBron recently spoke about his marriage to Savannah, explaining how, while it’s not always sunshine, they adapt to make it work.

“A relationship is never picture perfect,” LeBron said. “But if you’re okay with working through the hardships and adverse moments, then it will make it all worth it. We’ve been together since high school, so sh*t ain’t always gonna be a bed of roses.

“I think communication is number one, being honest is number two, and number three is you have to be okay with being uncomfortable sometimes,” LeBron continued. “You can’t always have it your way, you can’t always think it’s ‘My way or the highway.’ It’s never gonna work that way.

“They’re saying happy wife, happy life, and that’s real, bro, but also it’s happy husband, happy loving. For real though, it’s not gonna be a bed of roses and can you stand the rain?”

LeBron is absolutely correct. No relationship is perfect, but you have to put in the work if you want it to be successful.

LeBron and his wife surely have. The entire time LeBron has been in the spotlight, he has never been involved in any type of scandal. In a way, that’s more impressive than staying a top player after 20 years in the NBA.
