LeBron James is in the middle of an intense playoff battle against the Minnesota Timberwolves. While his mind should be focused completely on the game of basketball, outside distractions always occur.

The latest distraction has come from hip-hop star Kevin Gates. He recently took to Instagram, giving his thoughts on how LeBron’s wife, Savannah, supposedly doesn’t look at him the way certain other women do.

“I don’t like the way Savannah look at LeBron,” Gates said in a video. “I like the way them white women look at LeBron. As soon as he walked out there, they just be like, ‘Oh, oh, oh.'”
LeBron responded to Gates’s comments by posting on Instagram with a picture of his wife smiling hard at him.
“Kings don’t concern themselves with the opinions of peasants. Where to next Queen?!?! Let’s get it! ????????????♾️.”

LeBron met Savannah when he was 17 years old and still in high school. Savannah was a year younger than LeBron and attended a rival school.
LeBron initiated the interest by asking a mutual friend for Savannah’s number. Savannah, however, got his number first and made the first move.
“One day I’m sitting around—I was probably bored or something—and I’m like, ‘Oh, I forgot! I have this number for this guy that I can call. He seemed interested, so let’s see,'” Savannah said in a 2018 interview.
This led to LeBron inviting her to one of his games. She agreed, and after the game, the two went out to Applebee’s with a group of friends.
It would take only a few weeks before the two went on their first official date at Outback Steakhouse. The couple had their first son, current NBA player Bronny James, in 2004.
In 2013, LeBron and Savannah married and they have been going strong ever since. People seem to hate LeBron’s relationship since he married someone he met before becoming famous.
Also, LeBron has never had a controversy surrounding his marriage. This seems to upset many of his critics.
Ultimately, LeBron isn’t going to pay too much attention to Kevin Gates or anyone else. The LeBron and Savannah relationship is strong and they truly are the king and queen of the basketball world.
