LeBron James put the Superman cape on for a stunning game three performance, but it was not enough for the Los Angeles Lakers.
He stuffed the stats sheet with 38 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals on shooting 13-0f-21 (61.9 percent) from the field — including five-of-nine from 3-point range — but his team could not stop Anthony Edwards’ supporting cast in Friday’s game three matchup against Minnesota. “Ant-Man” did his thing with 29 points, eight assists, eight rebounds, two steals, and a block, but Julius Randle, Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid, and Donte DiVincenzo chipped in too. McDaniels had a team-high 30 points, while Randle turned in 22 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Reid had 11 points and six boards off the bench, and DiVincenzo collected 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and a steal in the Timberwolves’ 116-104 victory.

Edwards is tough to handle by himself, but he’s more dangerous when his teammates are involved.

“King James” was excellent; however, the Lakers are in trouble. Minnesota took a game from Los Angeles on the road, and now it has established home presence by winning Game 3. Game four is Sunday on ABC and Edwards smells it is time for the kill.
