After nine seasons in the Western Conference with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Karl Anthony-Towns is now on the east side with the Knicks. The former University of Kentucky standout and five-time NBA All-Star has been a walking double-double for New York. Towns collected his 49th double-double of the season last week for the Knicks in a 122-103 victory over Washington.
He collected 31 points, 11 rebounds, an assist, two steals, and a block.
New York is the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference at 44-26, but Towns can take it on a deep run to the EC Finals, especially with the Milwaukee Bucks being the lone team that can consistently challenge New York with its length.
