The Atlanta Hawks were without their star, Trae Young, who has now missed his eighth straight game due to a sprained MCL. Atlanta needed someone to step up and that player would be Jalen Johnson.

Johnson delivered a 31-point, 18-rebound, and 14-assist triple-double on 10-19 shooting. To go along with Johnson’s triple-double, Onyeka Okongwu chipped in a team-high 32 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawks.

This was good for Atlanta, as Lauri Markkanen went off for 40 points and seven rebounds. It wouldn’t be enough as the Hawks prevailed, winning 132-122.
