The Orlando Magic defeated the Detroit Pistons in dominant fashion on Saturday, winning 111-100.
The Pistons had a solid start and jumped out to a 6-0 lead early, but Orlando responded well and held a 33-21 lead by the end of the first quarter. Nearly the opposite occurred in the second quarter and by halftime, Detroit had cut the lead to just three points.

The Pistons were never able to take the lead and when the fourth quarter began, Orlando’s lead started growing and the game went beyond reach.
For the Magic, Franz Wagner continued his hot streak by putting up 30 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. The Magic’s depth was also vital to the win, as the three other players with double figures all came off the bench.

For the Pistons, Jaden Ivey and Malik Beasley led the way, scoring 19 points and 18 points respectively. As a team, they shot just 30.8% from three, far lower than Orlando’s 39.4%.
Detroit moves to 7-11 on the season after the loss, further expanding their losing streak. The Magic are now 11-7 on the season and are one of the more surprising teams this season.
