Draymond Green wants hand full of NBA Championship rings.

The former Michigan State standout is one away from completing a full hand.

Warriors beat Lakers as Steph Curry’s hot streak continues

He is a four-time champion with the Golden State Warriors at 35 years old, and the playoffs begin with the Play-In Tournament from April 15-18. Green, a four-time All-Star, 2017 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, and eight-time All-NBA Defensive Team selection, knows the challenge that awaits his team in the postseason. He is in a loaded Western Conference as Oklahoma City has the best record in the league. The Thunder will have the No. 1 seed, but everyone else in the field is dangerous. Green sat with Malika Andrews, host of NBA Today and NBA Countdown, to detail the matchups he wants to see the Warriors have in the playoffs.

“Anytime we face LeBron, it is always cinematic,” Green said.

“It is always an incredible challenge, so that is always fun. But, honestly all three of those teams are going to be tough. If you want to make it out of this Western Conference, any path you go through is going to be tough. All the teams in the Western Conference are good. When we are healthy, I like our chances against anyone.”

The path Green was referring to is having Golden State face the Lakers, Denver Nuggets, and Oklahoma City Thunder.

LeBron James and Luka Doncic would be an entertaining matchup. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is looking like the league’s Most Valuable Player with an impressive young team, while Denver has the three-time MVP in Nikola Jokic who is on SGA’s heels to possibly pick up his fourth MVP honor. Golden State has the No. 5 seed in the west, but we will see who it draws first.
