The Milwaukee Bucks outlasted the Miami Heat 106-103 on Tuesday in a hard-fought NBA Cup game. The Bucks jumped out to a solid lead during the first half that ballooned to a 24-point lead early in the second half. As expected, Miami fought it’s way back into the game, but couldn’t secure a lead before regulation ended.
The Bucks played without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was ruled out just prior to the game due to swelling in his left knee.

Luckily for them, Lillard stepped up in a huge way and put up 37 points and 12 assists.

Jimmy Butler led Miami with 23 points and five assists as the Heat were outscored 60-30 on three-pointers. Milwaukee’s blistering 47% three-point shooting night was a major factor in determining the outcome of the game.
The Bucks are now 3-0 in NBA Cup Group play, while Miami is 1-2 in games of that kind.
The Heat will fly to Charlotte and face the Hornets on Wednesday while Milwaukee is off until Saturday, when they will face the Washington Wizards.
