Damian Lillard watched his time in the NBA playoffs get cut short because of an injury.
Bucks’ Damian Lillard had ‘successful’ surgery on left Achilles tendon
He suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs between the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers, ending his season. The talented point guard for the Bucks had a successful surgery and is now attacking the rehab process. Milwaukee shared a video to X of “Dame Time” walking on an anti-gravity treadmill with the caption, “Dame making strides.” He averaged 24.9 points per game in his second season in Milwaukee, becoming an All-Star for a second consecutive year as a Buck. Milwaukee is hopeful it can keep Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo together.
