Chicago Bulls get $10.2 million thanks to Lonzo Ball injury

Lonzo Ball is not expected to play in the upcoming 2023-24 season thanks to his troublesome left knee. This will keep Ball off the court for two-and-a-half seasons.

This is terrible news for Ball’s team, the Chicago Bulls, but Chicago has recently been given good news from the NBA involving their injured starting point guard.

The Bulls have been granted a $10.2 million disabled player exception

The Bulls have been granted a $10.2 million disabled player exception to account for the loss of Lonzo Ball and the inability to use his $20.4 million salary. This is something that can help the Bulls bring in a possible seasoned veteran that can help lead the team back to the NBA Playoffs.
