Duke Blue Devils star Cameron Boozer has won the 2026 men’s Wooden Award, becoming the fifth freshman ever to do so.
The 6’9″ freshman averaged 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while leading the Blue Devils to the Elite Eight. He did so very efficiently, shooting 55.6% from the floor and 39.1% from beyond the arc.
Boozer led the Blue Devils to a 35-3 record while being unanimously named to the AP All-American first team. He also took home the AP Player of the Year Award.
Boozer is now the second Blue Devil in a row to take home the Wooden Award after Cooper Flagg did so in 2025. He joins Flagg, Zion Williamson, Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant as just the fifth freshman ever to take home the honor.
Boozer is expected to be a top-three pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
