Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco has officially been named as a QB in the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career, the Bengals announced Friday.
The 41-year-old veteran started the season as the starter for the Cleveland Browns, but was benched after four games and later traded to the Bengals.
With Joe Burrow out due to an injury, Flacco became the starter in Cincinnati and finished the season with 1,664 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
Friday’s announcement is the newest accolade in a storied career that included a Super Bowl MVP with the Baltimore Ravens.
After 18 seasons, Flacco can now boast a Pro Bowl appearance as well.
