Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been very busy as of late. Their season opener Tuesday night was an intense showdown against the L.A. Lakers in which Anthony Davis was too much for Minnesota to handle. With the season ramping up after a busy Olympic summer, Edwards spoke to ESPN about the future of his career.
“If I can, I’m trying to be here for my whole career,” Edwards said. “I ain’t trying to go nowhere.”

Edwards put up 27 points, six rebounds and three assists during their opening night loss to the Lakers. With Minnesota’s restructured roster, it will take some time for the group to learn how to play to each others’ strengths and run a more cohesive offense.
