He was impressive in game one of Minnesota’s series versus the Lakers, but Anthony Edwards struggled to get his teammates involved in the Timberwolves’ game two loss.
Edwards did not record an assist on Tuesday, regardless of having 25 points and six rebounds. Los Angeles tied the series at 1 with a 94-85 victory that had 31 points from Luka Doncic and 21 points from LeBron James. Edwards is an improved three-point shooter that loves to attack the basketball. He also enjoys running the offense through his teammates to help them get looks.

Minnesota could not get quality shots because of the level of defense it played on Edwards.
Ant-Man could not set up his teammates, and it led to disappointment. The series now shifts in location after two games inside Crypto.com Arena. Michael Wilbon, an analyst for ESPN, expects Edwards to ‘step up’ and be better for game two.

“He has to set the tone in everything that the Timberwolves do,” Wilbon said about Edwards.
“They have to move the ball better.”
Ball movement and shot selection for Minnesota starts with Edwards being aggressive. His ability to attack the paint, drain 3-pointers, and find open players for shots makes the T’Wolves hard to defend. Edwards needs a monster night at home.
