The World Cup Round of 16 battle between Egypt and Argentina was rather quiet in the first half, but the second proved to be nothing short of must-see.

Up 1-0 in the 59th minute, Egypt’s Mostafa Zico received a beautiful pass from Mohamed Salah before sending the ball past the goalkeeper and into the net.

Zico opted for a shirtless celebration after the impressive play.

While it seemed like Egypt had separated themselves by two goals, a controversial VAR review lead to a foul call on the offensive sequence prior to the goal.

On top of the controversial call, Zico was issued a yellow card for removing his shirt to celebrate.

Egypt was not happy with the call whatsoever, but it didn’t take long for Zico to strike again. In the 67th minute, Haissem Hassan cut back into the box to find Zico on the run for Egypt’s second goal.

It has looked like Egypt would maintain control, but Lionel Messi set up Cristian Romero for a header goal in the 79th minute, making it a 2-1 match.

Less than four minutes later, Messi found the net off a few deflections in the box to make it 2-2 with less than ten minutes of regulation time to go.

Argentina didn’t stop there, though. In the second minute of stoppage time, Enzo Fernandez scored a fantastic header off an assist from Lautaro Martinez to complete the comeback and go up 3-2.
