The NFL may hold the Super Bowl in February, but May is always the biggest time of the year for NFL social media teams. Each year, all 32 teams put tremendous amounts of effort into their schedule release videos.
This year was no different as fans were given a plethora of high-level productions to view. Let’s rank the top 10 best schedule release videos that came out on Thursday.
TOP NEWS
10. New York Jets
This one actually caught a little bit of slack from some fans online, but not every release video has to be funny. This year, the Jets opted for an art-themed release video. This one blends several colors of paint into one color for each team on the schedule.
9. Denver Broncos
The Broncos got clever with this video release, starring Peyton Manning and his daughter, Mosley. In the video, the two sit down on the couch and cut on the TV, with different channels and shows portraying their opponents for the season. The result was a funny and entertaining schedule release.
8. Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta turned heads with this schedule release video based on the old-school SportsCenter commercial style. Head coach Kevin Stefanski, president of football Matt Ryan and general manager Ian Cunningham were all heavily involved in this hilarious parody that included a censored f-bomb within the first 45 seconds.
7. Chicago Bears
Chicago opted for a throwback release video, calling back to the late, great Bob Ross and his television series that focused on painting. This one features wide receiver Rome Odunze dressed as Ross, taking a few clever jabs at teams while he portrays this season’s opponents through the canvas.
6. New York Giants
The Giants brought in beloved quarterback Jameis Winston for this one, donning a beret as he also channeled his inner artist. In this video, he played Pictionary with Giants fans.
If they guessed the name of the team that Winston was portraying on the white board within 15 seconds, they won free Giants tickets. The final product was a funny and light-hearted schedule release that was a hit among fans.
5. Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders made the NFL world laugh on Thursday as they had quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza pull off a parody of the beloved comedy film “Step Brothers”.
The entire bit was golden, and the video would have ranked higher if the schedule had been better implemented into the parody.
4. Dallas Cowboys
This one ranks high on both the humor scale and the cool scale. Dallas brought out three of their offensive lineman in Tyler Booker, Tyler Smith and Tyler Guyton, to make up the Tyler Intelligence Agency. In the video, the agency has undercover operatives on each team and they go through the schedule in the form of hilarious mission briefings.
3. Tennessee Titans
The Titans have become notorious for finding people out in public for their schedule releases. That approach was once again a hit this year as they found lookalikes for a player or coach on each team of their schedule. Some of the folks actually look like their NFL comparison, while the resemblance is comedically absent in others.
2. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts made arguably the funniest release of the year with their “Simpsons”-themed production. They had no hesitation poking fun at their opponents for next season, even joking about their less-than-ideal 2025 season. Their social media team perfectly combined a strong schedule release with one of the most beloved television shows of all time.
1. Los Angeles Chargers
It was a close race, but the Chargers once again came out on top with yet another outstanding schedule release video. Themed as a video game experience in the form of “Halo”, the Rams pulled no punches as they named off each opponent as if they were video game opponents.
They included numerous jabs, most notably being the multiple references to the Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini scandal when covering their Week 12 matchup against the New England Patriots.
