Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin wasted no time confronting a reporter who compared Kiffin to a “hoe” earlier this week.

Immediately after Ole Miss secured an Egg Bowl victory over Mississippi State, Kiffin aggressively approached Ben Garrett, a reporter for One3 who said “Can’t turn a hoe into a housewife. Hoes don’t act right.” when referring to Kiffin.

“You wanna walk in here and call me a hoe?” Kiffin asked. We’ll see how it goes.”

Kiffin has been in the spotlight for the past several weeks as multiple programs are reportedly interested in hiring him as a head coach.

Friday’s confrontation is a reminder of the boundaries that writers and reporters should respect. Luckily, it didn’t become physical in any way.
