The last time the Thunder advanced to the Western Conference Finals was in 2012.
OKC had a young trio that consisted of Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and James Harden. Westbrook never won an NBA Championship for the Thunder, but he sees something special in this year’s Most Valuable Player. Alexander guided OKC to the best record in the league in the regular season, and now the former Kentucky standout has his group in the conference final.
He was top-notch in the seven-game series, including a massive performance in the finale.
SGA turned in 35 points on 12-of-19 shooting from the field, including three-of-four from 3-point range. He also had three rebounds, four assists, a block, and three steals in a 125-93 victory for the Thunder to seal the series.
