Oklahoma City is moving on to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs.
It finished the regular season with the NBA’s best record and now swept the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Thunder earned its fourth straight win on Saturday to take the series. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the league’s Most Valuable Player, had back-to-back 30-point performances with 38 in Game 4. He also had five rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block in a narrow, 117-115 victory over Memphis on the road. Alexander made 13-of-24 shots from the field in 38 minutes of action.

SGA’s 38 points was a playoff career-high.
The 26-year-old got help from Jalen Williams (23 points), Chet Holmgren (11 points), Isaiah Hartenstein (11 points), and Isaiah Joe (11 points). Scotty Pippen Jr. led all scorers for Memphis with 30 points and had 11 rebounds. The Grizzlies had five player total double figures in points without Ja Morant (glute muscle contusion), but it was not enough.
OKC will face the Nuggets or Clippers in the second round. The Clippers lead the series, 2-1.
